Ways to Raise your vibration

You’ve probably heard people say things like ‘raise your vibration’ without actually understanding what this means or even how to go about it.

Put simply, we all vibrate energetically at a particular frequency. The higher this frequency, or vibration, the lighter you feel in your emotional and physical existence.

When you vibrate at a higher level, you experience clarity, peace, love, fulfilment and greater personal power and balance within life.

Take a moment to think of it this way, we’ve all walked into a party, function, event or even a room where from the moment you enter it feels awkward. The vibe is low, people are being negative and its basically negativity feeding negativity.

On the other hand, we’ve also experienced the opposite – the vibe is positive, there is laughter, joy and the feeling is that everyone is having a fantastic time.

When vibrations are low, all areas of life can be impacted. From poor health to financial worries to feelings of worthlessness and lack of motivation.

When vibrations are high, life is impacted positively – there is enthusiasm, high energy, motivation and the law of attraction seems to work in your favour.

It’s important to remember that energy attracts energy. People who are generally negative, unsatisfied, complain about most things and can’t seem to look on the bright side, tend to associate with like-minded people.

The same goes for positive people – their energies find one another based on optimism, gratitude, support and encouragement.

Something to consider ….

• Are the people you spend time with energy drainers or energy builders ?

Raising your vibration is easier than it sounds, and it all starts with you!

Choose your words and thoughts wisely.

Everything you say, think and feel is what you are attracting and that becomes your reality.

Do you have limiting beliefs that are holding you back?

What are you attracting when it comes to relationships, friendships, finances, career, family and personal goals?

Are your thoughts positive or negative?

When a limiting belief or negative thought appears in your mind, thank it for showing up then dismiss the thought itself and turn it into a positive.

 

• Be conscious of the foods and drinks you consume.

Foods and beverages all vibrate at different frequencies, for example blueberries, coconut, dark leafy greens and clean pure water have the highest vibrational frequencies. Other great things include raw nuts and seeds, wild fish, legumes, herbal teas and raw chocolate!

I am sure it hasn’t taken you long to realise that on the other end of the spectrum there are low vibrational foods and drinks that will lower your vibration when consumed.

These include genetically modified foods, processed meats, processed foods, deep fried foods and conventional foods treated with chemicals and pesticides – these are some of the big ones to avoid!

 

• Forgive.

Sometimes you don’t forgive someone because they deserve forgiveness, rather you forgive them because you deserve peace.

Anger and resentment instantly lower your vibration and when you hold on to these emotions for prolonged periods of time it can have a negative long-term effect on your mental, emotional, spiritual and physical health.

 

• Show gratitude and appreciation.

Beauty is everywhere around us, yet so often we miss the small things because we are busy rushing around with our blinkers on. Slow down, take away the fast pace and for a few moments each day make sure you take some time to stand out in the fresh air, in nature to take in the beauty that surrounds you.

Having an attitude of gratitude will transform your mindset to be appreciative for all that you have rather than focusing on what you don’t have.

 

• Practice acts of kindness.

Give to someone else without the expectation that you will receive something in return. Gossiping and treating others badly (emotionally and physically) will instantly lower your vibration.

 

• Get moving.

The more you move, the higher your vibration will be!

Vibration loves and requires movement so find something that you love doing that gets your blood pumping! Dance around the house, join an outdoor fitness class, swap a drink and dinner catch up with friends for a walk or jog…the possibilities are endless.

Exercise will increase your endorphins that will trigger positive feelings and the happier you feel, the more you will attract happy experiences to yourself.

 

• Meditate.

Take a few moments each day to connect with your breath and practice mindfulness. Close your eyes and allow your lungs and chest to soften and expand as you slowly and deeply inhale and exhale.

Don’t try to force your breath or change or manipulate it. Allow each breath to simply and naturally take place.

Creating a routine of meditating each morning before you start your daily activities, clears your mind, establishes your focus and sets your intent.

 

These are some of the easiest and most effective ways to raise your vibration.
